Delete your account

You can delete your Pélio account yourself, from inside the app, without writing to us and without giving a reason. Here is how, and exactly what it erases.

From the app

  1. Open Pélio and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. At the bottom, choose Delete my account.
  4. Confirm, then enter your password.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It signs out every one of your devices straight away, and your email address becomes free again: if you ever come back, it will be a new, empty account.

Cancel your subscription before deleting your account. The subscription lives with Apple or Google, not with us: deleting your Pélio account does not cancel it and does not trigger any refund. Cancel it in App Store > Subscriptions or in Google Play > Payments and subscriptions.

What is erased

  • Your account and your sign-in credentials.
  • Your client list: names, phone numbers, addresses, notes.
  • Your schedule: recurring services and appointments.
  • Your SMS reminder history.

What is kept, and why

Two categories survive deletion, because the law requires it and not because we want it: your invoices and your payments. These are accounting records, kept for 10 years in isolated archive under French accounting retention rules (article L. 123-22 of the Commercial Code). They are no longer used to run the service, and are no longer visible from the app.

If you no longer have access to the app

Lost phone, forgotten password, app uninstalled: write to contact@pelio.app from your account's email address, asking for deletion. We handle the request within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Never send us your password. We will never ask you for it.

Are you a client of someone who uses Pélio?

If you receive SMS reminders and want your details gone, the person to tell is your service provider: she holds your data and can erase it in seconds. If you cannot reach her, write to us and we will pass the message on.
